The purpose of this section is to provide you with an overview of the provisions of the Healthcare Employees’ Pension Plan (HEPP, Pension Plan or Plan) and to help you plan for your eventual retirement. An exact and complete description of the Pension Plan provisions and entitlements can be found in the HEPP Plan Text.

Where questions arise about interpretation, the HEPP Plan Text will govern. In addition, the Pension Plan is subject to the provisions of The Pension Benefits Act of Manitoba as well as the federal government’s Income Tax Act.
