Reinstatement

If you terminate your employment and leave your full pension benefit in the Plan, including any excess amount, you can reinstate your membership if you return to work for a Participating Employer within three years of your date of termination and join HEPP on the first day of employment. If you reinstate your membership, your previous period of employment service is combined with current employment service.

If you return to work after three years from your date of termination, you cannot combine your previous employment service with your current employment service. You will be treated as a new member.
